About Broken Loop Brewing
The loop was made to be broken.
Our Story
We started Broken Loop Brewing to build a brewery that doesn't feel like another stop on your routine. Beer matters to us—but so do the space, the pace, and the people you share it with.
The name is a reminder to step out of autopilot. Try something new. Slow down, even if just for a pint. There's a literal broken loop too: the traffic sensors at the intersection outside the brewery have been broken for years. If you've ever sat at that red light for no reason, you've felt it. We couldn't fix the loop, so we fixed the feeling.
Broken Loop took years to build—late-night planning, hundreds of brewery visits, notes on napkins, and too many spreadsheets.
We're proud to call the former Yonder Farms in Colonie home. We looked at countless spots, but when this one opened up, we knew. We're honored to give the property a second life as a local place of gathering.
We built this place for people who want to spend their time well, not just pass it. Whether you're building a flight, bringing the kids, or catching up with friends in the beer garden—we're glad you took the detour.

What We Care About
Beer, Done Right
We brew classic styles the traditional way—for flavor and drinkability, not flash. No shortcuts, no gimmicks.
A Place to Gather
The taproom is built for staying, not passing through. Settle in, slow down, and share a pint with someone.
Everyone Welcome
Bring the kids. Bring the dog—they're welcome outdoors and in the beer garden. Our doors are open to anyone who likes good beer and good company.
Meet Our Team
The people behind the beer and the room. Say hi when you're in.
